PROPAM CARBOPAINT PC

PROPAM® CARBOPAINT PC is a smooth coating for the protection of concretes against carbonation, developed based on acrylic copolymers in aqueous dispersion, of a single component, impermeable to rainwater, permeable to water vapor, with a decorative finish and resistant to atmospheric agents.
Complies with the requirements of EN 1504-2.

Fields of application	Coating for the protection and improvement of the aesthetic finish in all types of precast concrete. Preventive protector in new concrete works located in aggressive environments. Protective and decorative coating of works rehabilitated with repair mortars pillars, beams, joists, slab edges and slabs. Protection of reinforced concrete and mortar surfaces against carbonation, water absorption and atmospheric agents. High quality decorative finish for facades. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
propiedades	High anti-carbonation protection. Permeable to water vapor, allows the breathability of the support. Very good adhesion on traditional construction supports. Very high resistance to weather and aging. Impervious to rainwater and de-icing salts. Improves the aesthetic appearance of the protected surface. Matte finish. Easy application and with zero toxicity, solvent-free.
consumo	The recommended consumption is 100–150 g/m² for the first coat and 150–250 g/m² for the second, depending on the substrate porosity. However, the final consumption will largely depend on the required finish, site constraints and intended use.
