Fibre-reinforced concrete
Manufactured with a maximum of 20 mm aggregate, it incorporates different types of fibres in its composition, which can be polypropylene, metallic, glass wool, polyester and polymeric fibres in order to reduce the risk of cracks or increase resistance to impact. Some of these fibres can even replace the reinforcement.

Field of application
- Industrial, airport, interior or exterior flooring, or large surfaces.
- Structures whose requirements do not allow cracking.
- Elements subject to impacts.
Advantages
- Avoids the risk of cracking by increasing the surface area of the pad, thus increasing the distance between expansion joints.
- Improves fire resistance, with polypropylene fibres.
- Can replace traditional reinforcement, with metallic fibres.
Application System
- Direct pouring, by pump or by bucket. Curing precautions should be the same as for conventional concrete.
- The fibre can be added at the concrete batching plant or on site, requiring a minimum mixing time to ensure the homogeneity of the fibre concrete.
